Corona lockdown has caused a loss of about 8 lakh crores to the Indian economy
The first phase of lockdown for Corona to war in the country ends today i.e. April 14. PM Narendra Modi has now announced to extend it further till May 3. By the way, this lockdown is proving to be a big setback for India's economy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown on 24 March to prevent the spread of the corona virus. It came into force on that day from midnight i.e. 25 March, the duration of which ends on Tuesday i.e. 14 April. Addressing the country today in the Prime Minister said that the lockdown of this world's biggest lockdown is expected to shock the country's economy by Rs 7-8 lakh crore.During this lockdown, most of the companies, industries were closed, flight services were suspended and the wheels of trains stopped. At the same time, the movement of people and vehicles also remained closed. Due to this lockdown, 75 percent of India's economic activities came to a halt.
